Tolka is a speed reading app that respects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data with third parties.
All your data — documents, reading progress, profiles, and settings — is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced between your own devices via your personal iCloud account. We never have access to your iCloud data.
Tolka does not include any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, crash reports sent to third parties, or device identifiers.
Tolka connects to the internet only when you explicitly request it:
No data is sent to Tolka or any third party during these operations.
Tolka uses UserDefaults solely to store your app preferences and settings within the app and its extensions (App Group access, reason CA92.1). No information from UserDefaults is shared externally.
Tolka does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app contains no accounts, no user-generated content sharing, and no advertising.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version at this URL with a new effective date.
